    Bert, yep...I'm on AudiogoN, too (I'm also on AudioKarma, Klipsch Forums, Steve Hoffman Forums, AudioCircle, etc. I'm everywhere...LOL)!

    Jeff, I'm absolutely thrilled with the SL-1700MK2 and its performance. Sure, it's not a megabuck Clearaudio or VPI belt-drive 'table, but with my Stanton MM and a Sumiko Blue Point MC (that's worn and needs replacing), it does a respectable job of reproducing my 180-200 gram LPs in grand style. All I need now is a decent tube phono stage to replace the entry-level Music Hall and I'm all set!
