What's vintage in your system?

I got the audiophile but again in 2002 and have been doing some upgrading. But as of then my system consisted of ...

• Phase Linear 400 amp, 1978 -- sold: Cdn$250
• Apt Holman preamp, 1979 -- sold: US$195
• Denon TU-500, 1974 -- sold: US$270
• B&W DM7 speakers, 1980 -- sold Cdn$200
• Audio Technica Signet cartridge, 1989 -- still around, but not in use
• Technics SL-PS70 CDP, 1992 -- still around ...
• Realistic LAB-2200 turntable, 1993 -- the trashman cometh!

The Denon is still going strong and sounds great. The Apt Holman is still in use as a phono stage only; the Realistic is also still in use; (shows how much I care about vinyl).

The B&W are still around and occassionally in use, though not in my main system; (incidentally, they totally suck today -- absolutely no dynamic capability -- I can't believe they haven't deteriorated from when I bought they way back when).

Recently added to my system are the following vintage items:

• Technics SL-D2 turntable, late '70s
• Denon TU7-67, 1985

I'm getting a couple of DACs for cheap, viz.

• Entech 203.2, $81
• Assemblage DAC 1.5 with HDCD, $174

Since my old Technics SL-PS70 player was a top-of-the-line model, it will make nice transport, so I might haul it back into service with the Entech.

In the bedroom I'm using a couple of vintage items ...

• NAD 7130, early '80s -- nice
• Radio Shack MInimus 7 speakers, early '80s -- yuck!
