    GlenB,

That Pioneer SA-7100 is a sweet unit. I used the 9100 for a long spell during the 80's.

Not likely, I have plans for it. I've already invested about $150 in the DC protection/delay, new connectors and brand new captive power cord. Next will be a recap when I have the time.

Real clean looking. Ive had 2- 400's for quite a while, they have never been serviced. Ive used them with a Carver 4000 through a variety of speakers. They are very smooth and laid back. Ive always enjoyed them. When you finish, I'll ship you mine to do.lol, I only live down the road from you a bit.

I have a fond memory of the FM-5 as it was the first Dyna I built from a kit. Shoulda kept it over the years, but didn't. And it actually worked in the end.

The thing is a real workhorse. I bought it at a flea market twelve years --ago it think for $30 It tunes better and much better sound than a newer Sony digital tuner I tried to replace it with. (I ended up giving the Sony away.)

Yes, the TU-750 is fairly rare. The drum-type tuning dial is unusual, as are the meters. They can measure power either from the tuner or an external device; the left one doubles as a signal strength at the flip of a switch. Note the outputs for an osciliscope. The back looks like this:

    Smile Vintage Gear

My first post should consist of what I own so, here it is:
I have a Technics Professional Series rack system that I bought while in the Air Force stationed in W. Germany. I bought these components and one of the Micro Series systems during 1978-79 along with the Technics speakers. Everything else was purchased in the USA. I'll post pics when I figure out how to do that.

    Main System:
    Technics SH-9010 EQ
    Technics SH-9020 Meter Unit
    Technics ST-9030 Tuner
    Technics SE-9060 Amp (2)
    Technics SU-9070 Pre-Amp
    Technics RS-1700 Open Reel
    Technics RS-M85 Cassette Deck
    Technics RS-M88 Cassette Deck
    Technics RS-9900US Cassette Deck (2)
    Technics SH-3041 Step-Up Transformer (3)
    Technics SL-1310MKII Turntable
    Technics ST-905 Audio Rack
    Klipsch Klipschorns Loudspeakers
    Klipsch La Scala's Loudspeakers
    dBX 3BX Range Expansion
    dBX Model 224 Noise Reduction
    dBX Model 200 Routing Box

Secondary Systems: Both are Technics Micro Series Systems (2 ea of everything listed except the speakers)
    Technics SE-C01 Amp
    Technics SH-C01 Power Supply
    Technics SU-C01 Pre-Amp
    Technics ST-C04 Tuner
    Technics M02 Cassette Deck
    Technics SL-10 Turntable
Technics SB-E100 Loudspeakers, Klipsch Cornwalls (1st System)
    Klipsch La Scala's, Klipsch KG-2's (2nd System)

I also have a Technics ST-9038 Tuner and SH-9038 Micom Programmable Processor that are sitting idle at the moment.

I'm sure nobody noticed but, I do like Technics and Klipsch.

    Go LUXMANs!

Hello: I love the LUXMAN R-117. I have three of them, and one of them came with a very rare Remote Operated Surround Sound Amplifier System that adds even more power and provides a wider spectrum of sound slections..

    Go LUXMAN!
