Ziggy Stardust was my first real rock album. I bought it because I liked the cover and it was on sale. It started a life long love affair with Bowie's music. And it forever changed the way that I listened to music and the type of music that I listened to.

Well for me, I guess ZIGGY STARDUST was the first album that when I listened to it, at first, was rather average. I skipped through it a bit and found a few tracks that I could enjoy, but then something magical happened. I found myself craving it. It was a rock album that had this beautiful nature to it that nothing else quite had before. It also is the first and only album that I am aware of where songs like IT AIN'T EASY truly sound more like a whole rock choir vs. just one man singing out. It's just an amazing record with such passion and mystery. I, of course, love just about every other Bowie album, but this one I always come back to and each time fall in love again.
