I knew there was a reason that I liked you! If you check the archives for similar threads, you'll see that Leftoverture always, always, always is at the top of my Desert Island list.

I'll give you my top five for now, because I don't have time to come up with ten before Lost starts.

Kansas - Leftoverture - the best album ever made IMO. Great music, great lyrics, killer album. And, yeah, I'm sick of Carry On, but it's a solid song that's been ruined by classic rock stations that refuse to recognize the greatness of the other tunes on this album.

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here - Shine On You Crazy Diamond and Welcome To The Machine. 'nough said.

David Bowie - Ziggy Stardust - This album changed my life.

Andrew Bird - The Mysterious Production of Eggs - This album excited me in a way that music hadn't excited me in years.

Hem - Rabbit Songs - This CD is my favourite stress reliever. The music, the songwriting, and Sally Ellyson's incredible voice all work together to sooth the savage beast within.
