Jay-Z -- The Blueprint
Miles Davis -- *****es Brew
Rolling Stones -- Exile on Main Street
Talking Heads -- More Songs About Buildings and Food
David Bowie -- Ziggy Stardust & the Spiders from Mars (I'm sure it was the power of suggestion, but that is an excellent choice)
Billie Holiday -- Love Songs compilation or any other disc of hers I could find from the late 30s or early 40s
Louvin Brothers -- When I Stop Dreaming: The Best of the Louvin Brothers
Daft Punk -- Discovery
Oops, you said no compilations or greatest hits in your "rules". Sorry. Only problem is, when you're picking albums from the "pre-album" era, it is impossible. Louder than Bombs was sort of like its own album. Anyhow, the rules kinda suck for me, but thanks for starting the thread.
