That's good news. I'm going to check the model number and look up the specs when I get home. It would suck to buy speakers that I don't have the power to play right away. Although I generally don't turn the volume up as high as I used to. My husband has hearing problems and it's made me painfully aware of how valuable my hearing is.

But it's nice to have the option.
Keep us posted on the ones you like and we will make sure they work with what you have.

If you get a chance it would be great to know the model number of the JVC so the specs could be looked up.
