    Recording TV to VCR

My daughter still on occasions copy movies from the cable box. However, with the hi def cable box there are not enough outputs to make the link. One output goes to the TV the other output goes to the DVD Recorder. Is it possible to connect the output of the TV to the VCR and still make recordings.

    Theoreticaly yes.

If your TV has an output, I'd say "borrow" a (red/white/yellow) composite video/audio cable from RatShack or the like and try it.

Does your TV have a monitor out/

You can og from TV monitor out or just have your cable box go through your VCR (your cable company can do the connection). You may need an RA Switch to watch and record different shows at the same time.
