no photos - but spinning some new vinyl sent to me by PC - awesome - the Waits especially - thanks!

    - also the clamp - i think it actually makes a difference - seems the low end is clearer and has more thump/punch in it. crazy!

Ya I knew you liked the Waits LP, so you can have it. The others were doubles I had picked up. That;s a pretty nice copy of Aja.

Of all the weights I have made that one was my favorite, I just don't need it with the Ariston.

Let me know once you have tried out the CDP.

Quartet West...."Always Say Goodbye" Gitanes Records 1993.

Charlie Haden bass, Ernie Watts Sax, Alan Broadbent Piano, Larance Marable Drums

For those who know Charlie Haden and love Cool Jazz, this is for you. Out standing work here.

Besides Quartets own playing, the recording also contains outstanding performances by Colman Hawkins in 1962, Joe Stafford with Paul Weston and his orchestra in 1944, Stephane Grappelli in 1944, Duke Ellinginton in 1959, Chet Baker in 1955.

LP, Dan Fogelberg & Tim Weisberg, Twin Sons of Different Mothers. Not quite what I expected but a good album with better than average sound quality.

LP, Rush, Permanent Waves and the one side of Caress Of Steel with Bastille Day.

I tried to play an LP, Bloomfield, Cooper & Stills, Super Sessions but it was in pretty rough shape so I tossed it aside after a couple tracks. What a shame.

Earlier listened to a group called Redemption on CD.

Okay, man, I don't have my music in my possession, but I downloaded the Wipers box set because now you have me wanting to listen to them. Also love seeing the Mekons on there, a band I haven't listened to in quite some time.

Here are are few of my most recent listens:

Don't have any original Wipers albums, but I do have the tribute album from years ago. I guess it's time to re-visit:
