    Slosh's 3/4 (2007)

Slosh put out 2007 compilations in stages. There was an End of Summer Comp, a 3/4 Comp, and a Year End Overflow comp. I don’t seem to have a Best of 2007. I’m wondering if I missed it? I know I’ve had problems working with wma lossless files, perhaps I wasn’t able to convert it at the time.

Anyway, this nearly year ender is good. Small Bones Small Bodies is just flat out catchy. Methamphetamine is lovely, Brace Yourself, etc. etc. Got turned on to Josh Ritter, started paying attention many of the bands Sun Volt, Spoon, Wilco.

Arctic Monkeys - Brianstorm
Future Of The Left - Small Bones Small Bodies
Babyshambles - Delivery
Les Savy Fav - Brace Yourself
Super Furry Animals - Baby Ate My Eightball
Earlimart - Everybody Knows Everybody
Josh Ritter - Open Doors
Pinback - Good To Sea
Spoon - Finer Feelings
Rob Crow - Taste
Gruff Rhys - Gyrru Gyrru Gyrru
Arcade Fire - (Antichrist Television Blues)
Ted Leo And The Pharmacists - The Unwanted Things
Modest Mouse - Missed The Boat
Blitzen Trapper - Wild Mountain Nation
Okkervil River - Unless It Kicks
Richmond Fountaine - Moving Back Home
Son Volt - Methamphetamine
The Good, The Bad, & The Queen - Behind The Sun
Wilco - Hate It Here

Just wanna mention if you like the electronic textures of that James Blake but are not so into the vocals and such, check out Mount Kimbie. They have done some remix work with Blake and their albums have a lot of similar electronic textures, but without those falsetto vocals and the rest.

That one may actually get me to burn and actual CD. I've pretty well drifted off CDs and just gone all analog at home and MP3s for the road...but that looks like something that may just merit a download and burn to dick and some volume.
