    Lately:

The 88 - Over and Over
I expected something a little more on the punk side (not sure why) but this is heavily Beatles and Kinks influenced. Nice, but haven't spent a ton of time with it yet.

    Boris - Akuma No Uta
Wow, this is some rockin' sh*t. Good stuff, but I wish they didn't have the space-pop interludes.

High On Fire - Blessed Black Wings
I can't get enough of this one.

Bob Dylan - John Wesley Harding
In my estimation, one of his best albums.

Gang Gang Dance - God's Money
I've only listened to this once, but my reaction was: WTF is this?

Bonnie "Prince" Billie - I See a Darkness

    Kraftwerk - The Man-Machine
And the world will turn to flowing pink vapor stew.

Otis Redding - Otis Blue (MoFi Ultradisc)
    Iron Butterfly - Metamorphosis
Earth, Wind & Fire - That's The Way Of The World (MoFi Ultradisc)
    Parliament - P-Funk Earth Tour
Earth, Wind & Fire - All N All
    Captain Beyond
Isaac Hayes - Hot Buttered Soul (MoFi Ultradisc)
    Gong - Gazeuse!
    Parliament - Motor Booty Affair
    The Syn - Joe's Pub, NYC Jan 8, 2006
Funkadelic - One Nation Under A Groove
Earth, Wind & Fire - The Eternal Dance Rarities (I picked these out of the 3-disc set)

That may have been more than one week. I just grabbed the stack and started typing.

English Settlement is in heavy rotation when I grab the Carvin lately. (I don't want to have to actually learn anything new. Sort of an air guitar mentality, I guess.)

    More from the cutting edge...

Jeff Beck - Flash (Even worse than I remember. Only one good track.)
    R.E.M. - Murmur (MFSL)
The Beatles - A Hard Day's Night (DESS Blue Box)
The Beatles - Revolver (DESS Blue Box)
Kate Bush - The Kick Inside
The Mahavishnu Orchestra - The Inner Mounting Flame (MFSL)
Yes - Wembley, Oct 26, 1978 (Too bad the Beeb didn't record this night instead of the 28th.)

Seems like there was more but I can't remember.

Wow - I haven't been here in many moons. Hope all my old RR amigos are doing well.

Earlier, I was spinning Jimmy Smith - Got My Mojo Workin'. It is a Verve vinyl version I recorded to my HDD.

Now I just finished Jay Farrar - Live in Seattle.
