Hey, wasn't that the one about the little girl who's father had a humpback then she grows up and sticks it to those two freaky neighbors of hers? If that's the one then those were awesome films.

Congrats to you and your son.

I actually figured out the "big surprise" at the end of Manon of Spring, but I'm probably not the first one. They're two great movies though, even if the ending was a bit predictable. They just don't make 'em like that any more.

I call my bathroom Jim instead of John so I can tell people that I go to the Jim first thing every morning.

Just moved house so things are a bit hectic, all the systyem and CD's packed up but thank god for car players and ipods.

Fortunately managed to leave a few out so had time to listen to....

Cat Power - The Greatest, this is really really good, I was a mild fan but now I'm converted.

Bonnie Prince Billy - The Brave and The Bold, lots of cover versions that are a bit of a yawn so far but it's early days yet I suppose, maybe I wasn't in the mood.

Artic Monkeys - Whatever People Say I Am, pretty much what I expected and it's ok, the vocalist has a great style.

    Cheers
    Mike

New Orleans the next time we go, and I think it will be in 2007. Please tell me you're in because I really want a chance to party with you!

    Hey, Swish

We'd love to party with you in New Orleans in 2007; if there's any possible way we can swing it -- we're there to play!

    Cheers,

    Bill

That's great news. Hopefully the good he experienced outweighs the horror I'm sure he witnessed, but he and his mates are all heros in my book.

Sorry we never got to talk, but I'm sure we will soon. I wish the best to your son over there and will keep him in my thoughts. Our son had some amazing stories for us, most of them good, some of them hair-raising.
