    Whattup Dee-troit Thang,

As a resident of K-zoo for several years yer gettin' all kinds of props from me for the Bell's. Great pub and Larry was an okay guy. Extra points for being seasonally correct...you're gonna fit in nicely 'round these parts, eh.

No likey. Wasted +$10 bucks on a six pack of 11.2 oz each bottles. It tastes like those little smoked summer sausage whorederv thingies.

I wish I could get my hands on a set of those glasses though.

I think you mean Coopers. No, but I didn't look for it either. I wonder how widely distributed that beer is.

Next time I'm in the liquor store I'm going to ask if they'll order special requests for customers. (I'm still waiting for my Gold Club card from them so who knows. )

I'm going back to Maredsous this weekend. I sent an e-mail to their website asking where I might find a set of their glasses here in the US.

Found the Maredsous 8 & 10 at my local Whole Paycheck tonight. I'll got a small bottle of each and will give them a go this weekend.

Tried the Pike Brewery Naughty Nellie pictured above in a previous post this last weekend along with Rogue Brewery's Dead Guy Ale.

Both were very nice, somewhat like Ales. The Naughty Nellie clearly had more of a bitterness but was still very drinkable. Nice hoppy taste.

The Dead Guy Ale was very good. In fact it took me by suprise. Nice Amber color with some wheat and fruit flavors. Kindof Malty. I really liked this beer. I will definitely pick some more up soon.
