Yup. I get down there about once a month. Greenwood is where the cardsharks of my pack hang, and libation is always necessary. These days I tend to frequent the Broad Ripple area much more often both for convenience and it's a target-rich environment.

I find myself very hungry at this time.

As little as possible. They don't like the grass skirt. Something about a "dress code"? :confused5:

Just got back from the trainer. I think I just sweated out about 2 gallons of Sleeman. He made the wife and I "pay" for missing two weeks of training. :cryin:

    BTW, Moose Drool.......http://www.bigskybrew.com/process/moosedrool.html

I don't suggest the Scape Goat. Sucked goat balls!

Yeah Broad Ripple and that Belgian place where the trail picks up are both good. Sister lives about a mile up the trail from that spot. Mom lives at Dudley and Madison close to Greenwood.

I brought back a case of Gnaw Bone and Razz-Wheat...yummy stuff.

    Suggestions...
Please give me some suggestions on beer I should try this weekend. My tastes run towards the pale ales but I'm willing to try a honey brown this time. I've resigned myself to the fact that I'll probably never find Sleeman unless I go to a bar which I rarely do anymore, so what's the next best after Sleeman?

    F'ing A! It's Friday!!!

No help on the "pale ales" wooosie boy but............................

No chance on getting Sleeman here in Tejas! I emailed Sleeman and asked them how/where I could get it. No distributor here in Texas but there were a couple southeast states that get it. Can't remember off hand but maybe Georgia was one of them?.

The guy I have been emailing at Sleeman is a very nice guy and I am currently in "talks" about being their Texas distributor. I just need to raise a few hundred grand and open up a distribution center that is financially sound. Bah, details.......

I will get Sleeman here! Mark my word. :yesnod:

An entire Cartman post without even the slightest mention of: cough... Shiner... cough.

What's this wooosie boy crap?! I like to pour my beer, not cut it with a knife! :yesnod:

Has everyone in this forum turned into lame-ass tea-totalers?

I figured you wanted something other than the 2nd greatest beer in the world. Plus, you've already tried Shiner.

I had a Sapporo Light a couple weeks ago at a Sushi place with some friends. It's actually a very good "pale" beer. Nice and smooth with some nice flavor.

BTW................Sushi........................WT F? What's the point? Cartman and Sushi just don't go together.

    Whattup Dee-troit Thang,

As a resident of K-zoo for several years yer gettin' all kinds of props from me for the Bell's. Great pub and Larry was an okay guy. Extra points for being seasonally correct...you're gonna fit in nicely 'round these parts, eh.

    ...later that night at GM's:

No likey. Wasted +$10 bucks on a six pack of 11.2 oz each bottles. It tastes like those little smoked summer sausage whorederv thingies.

I wish I could get my hands on a set of those glasses though.

Next time I'm in the liquor store I'm going to ask if they'll order special requests for customers. (I'm still waiting for my Gold Club card from them so who knows. )
