We are going to see the pendulim swing too far the other direction. We are going to over-legislate morality. At that point a backlash against the religious rights morality push will occur. It has happen before when the moral majority began their push into society. They manipulated, did political blackmail, and got their way, and then folks got tired of their control. And that is what has lead to the free wheeling kind of morality we have now.

The pendulim keeps swinging wildly from one extreme to another, and nobody realizes that the answer is somewhere in the middle.
