I've used auto setup from Onkyo, Denon & Yamaha. Never had a problem with any of them and distances and levels have always been spot on(except for the sub of course). No one is expecting a miracle but they do give you a starting point....especially if your new to setting a system up.

Give Rich a break and let him enjoy his new toy.

BTW, just because you had good luck with Integra, it doesn't mean they don't have issues as well. The current line of Integra is plagued with problems just like Onkyo is. I had HDMI problems with Elite as well. Yamaha was the only problem free units I auditioned.
Have you checked that auto setup?
I have tried it on a couple of receivers and it never worked quite right.
kinda like sex on a motorcycle , it sounds great in theory, but the reality
can be quite bloody.
A cheap microchip will never replace the human ear , IMHO..
And I do hope Rich enjoys his new toy, might not beleive it but I am on his side,
its just that hes mr opening line.
And again I HAVENT HEARD ABOUT ANY PROBS WITH iNTEGRA.
But I am leery of most modern receivers, I am a firm beleiver that there aint no such thing as a free lunch, and they cram too much into modern receivers.
Its engineering by the marketing dept, and has produced a poorer product as a result.
My first receiver had 35wpc, my second 75wpc, INTO TWO CHANNELS.
And it was top of the line at the time, would cost 1800 in todays dollars.
The tech hasnt advanced enough to cram SEVEN 140 watt amps into a single receiver
without major compromises, thats all there is to it.
