it's a excellent rock solid performer with all the goodies a "universal" dvd player should have in its' price range.
if a grand is a bit much for you, you might want to take a look at Denon dvd2200; basically all the same goodies with original DACs ( burr-brown 24/192) and WMA playback for $600.
