    need help with an old pioneer turntable

    i have a pioneer pl-516 and just replaced the belt on it. i bought it with a broken belt so i dont know how it sounded before but when i play LPs on it they are being played too fast. i have adjusted the speed dials to the lowest possible settings and it is still playing them too fast. whats going on!?

    And now for the dumb questions...

    ...try as I might I couldn't get any info on, or decent quality pics of, your tt...

    How do you know it's running fast?

    Does it have a strobe?

    Do the speed controls function at all?

    jimHJJ(...is it bigger than a breadbox?...ignore that last question, I'm just being stupid...)
