Wow!! Looks great barbarian!! Great to hear from you, glad your analog interests are going strong. My favorite period of Dylan LPs would have to be with The Band backing him, fave LP would be Blonde on Blonde. If you really want to get to the roots, you must check out Woody Guthrie. But if you really want to get to the roots of Dylan, he "borrowed" much of his image and style from the legendary Ramblin Jack Elliott.

Elliott cut some great albums in the UK for a label called Topic and then in his heyday, for Prestige and Vanguard. They are quite sought after on todays vinyl market, particularily the Topic releases. I would suggest buying any reissues you can find especially the albums cut with Derroll Adams.

Have you made any upgrades to your system? I forget, did you buy speaker stands?

My first exposure to Ramblin' Jack Elliott was on his contributions to the Bread and Roses album. The Bread and Roses group performed in concerts and the music was played in prisons in California. Great music and a great cause.
