Yes, NickWH is right, but B&W is a good brand to consider in an HT setup. Look into B&W, Paradigm, NHT, Boston Acoustics, Monitor Audio, are some examples. I forgot, Dynaudios are known for their neutrality and are better used in high quality wattage stereo setups and such.

And yes, cables do make a difference, but don't go spending massive amounts of money on cables. Its usually more pertinent to be running nicer wiring when using a purist stereo system and such, whereas with HT, you just want good clean sound all through the frequency range, not looking for good transparancy or soundstaging, hehe.
