So if I want to get a sub that is around $100 is my sub alot better than other $100 subs.

no, it's about the same, $100 subs are crap, and your jbl isn't alot better, it's the same as the $100 subs,

answer this: Why buy new things that aren't better than the things you have now?

do you like the jbl sub's sound? if yes, then that's great for you, then don't waste money on buying another one that's the same. if you don't like it, then why did you buy it in the first place?

well, big suprise, it isn't. both aren't really good,

you have a sub, you don't need a better one because you don't want to pay for a better one. if you really want to buy a new sub for $100, you'll end up with the same sub, only it looks different, and you still lose money. on crap.
