What about that post a few weeks ago before the Sweet Sixteen ever started? In a single post you decried the absence of veteran broadcaster Dick Vitale while simultaneously pronnouncing your admiration for the South Carolina team. Typed by your own fingers was an expression of longing for Dick and a statement of support for the Cocks that bordered on blowhard, fanatical proportion.

Never much liked Dick Vitale, OTOH I don't really follow college hoops much until the playoff rounds start, but coach Valvano was a great personality of the sport and a hero to many I'm sure. I think in his brief stint on this earth he did so much more to bring the college ranks into the national spotlight than Dick did. And the teams I follow during the playoffs include UNC & Duke, which are a bit north of south NC.

C'mon man, just set the record straight.
