Ericl is missing. We need someone to take over.

No one seems to have heard from Ericl in quit some time. Until he returns, we'll need someone to stand in and captain our ship. I'm going to nominate a few possibilities. It's up to you to vote for your favorites. Who would you like to see with the iron gavel?
Write ins are welcome. I'm going to vote for L.J.

My vote is for FOREVER AUTUMN based on two reasons:

    1. I would vote her for President of the US, but she is in Canada.
    2. She is the only woman in the poll and it's about time a woman runs something.

(ahem, is this thing on?) My fellow, AR.com-ers...If elected your new leader, I promise to do my best to preserve the values we all hold so dear. Ar.com isn't about the individual, it's about community. As such, I don't want to be thought of as a leader - no, no, no...I prefer the term...

    Ruler!

And as your ruler I shall decree unto thee 12 demandments:

    1) Kex is always right - arguing with Kex is an exercise in futility. Even if you're right - I reserve the privilege of modifying your post to make your good points look silly.

    2) All posts on Wednesdays shall include the words "Lost", "Dharma", or "Others"

    3) Nobody shall use the term "all channels driven" as support for an argument

    4) GM is to throw me more pool parties with the same hired catering service as before.

    5) Posters responding to threads that are more than 4 weeks old shall be taken to the new Pillory Forum for public flaming.

    6) In addition to "Quote" and "Go Advanced" buttons, forums will now be equipped with RTFM instant replies.

    7) Using the words "Pace, Rythm, and Timing" to describe anything with lights on it is forbidden.

    8) Using the words "Pace, Rythm, and Timing" to describe anything is forbidden.

    9) Posters in "Fave Films" forum who fail to signal "spoiler alert" shall be taken to the Pillory for flogging.

    10) Posters will visit Rave Recs each Tuesday to list their current playlists in the revived Tunesday threads...

    11) Henceforth, Mondays shall be the day we all stop to appreciate the musical genius that is Styx.

    12) I shall appoint Worf to the dual-role as my Minister of Polling/forum jester....

Vote for Kex...It's time for a change! (worked for Clinton).

Well, with a total vote count of zero, (wait, let me re-count them, yup, zip) it doesn't look like I'll be starting my new job of Audio Zar anytime soon.
Like to see me juggle 5 rings of fire and two chainsaws with my teeth?

You could have voted for yourself. See my, "write ins are welcome" notation? I voted for LJ myself.
But sorry, only one vote per person this time. Your vote for Feanor has been counted.
But at least you're in a tie with me for 6th place.

    The standings so far.

    FA - 2 votes - 1st place
John - 1 vote - tie for second
Kex - 1 vote - tie for second
Feanor - 1 vote - tie for second
Wooch - 1 vote - tie for second
mega tie with me, basite and everone else for 6th place at 0 votes

Still too early to call a winner.

I'm now accepting money to lobby Also who is going to offer more empty promises, like discounts from advertising companies, cleaning up a tarnished rep or free ice cream.
