    Axiom Audio Subs

AXIOM has just come out with a couple of new subs. Has anybody heard them, or
are there any reviews anywhere? Do you think a person is really saving by buying
from an internet only supplier? I'd like to add a really top end sub to my system,
but I am also looking for the best value for the money.

I do believe it is possible to get a good deal when buying audio products over the internet, but only if you know which products to get from which companies. Axiom Audio makes some very good bookshelf speakers. However, they would not be my first (or second or third) choice for a subwoofer manufacturer. There are some user reviews of Axiom subwoofers here. If you are looking for a good deal on a truly top end subwoofer, I would recommend the SVS PB12-Ultra/2.

The SVS looks like an awesome sub, but.... I am now getting into the price range
of some really serious, good subs. Like the Velodyne DD-15 and the DD-18. Is
    the SVS of this quality?

    What I'd really love is a $ 2,000 sub for $ 1,000!!!

Yes, without a doubt. If your budget is around $1000, however, I would recommend the SVS PC-Ultra instead.
