Vintage

My only vintage piece is in my bedroom, a pioneer SA-7500II, running four energy take classics. 2 of them splitting power from each A channel, and speaker wires running from B channels to send signal to the take classic 8" sub. Pioneer DVD player with USB as the source. Sounds surprisingly good, great really.

Heck the only modern unit I have is a cd/dvd player, a Philips 951-something or the other.

I have to admit, I'd sure like a remote on the pre, and a good quality cd player, maybe tubed like Justlisten2s'. Other than that, I like my sound.

Anyone?

Pete

Well done mate. I use a hafler DH200 had if for 30 years now. Not found anything of a realistic price to make me want to change.

I use a hafler xl280 with a hafler 101 pre for my second system.

I guess most of my system is a relic then

Turntable is a Systemdek 4 with a rega 250 (technoweight) and a decca gold/silver/C4e (depends on how i feel) cartridges.

Audio research SP9 must be a relic now.

CD is a Meridian 506 20 bit but the second system has a Meridian 206.

Speakers main are Art Impressions and for second system a pair of Systym 931
