Been on a Hawksley Workman kick lately. Any of you Yanks who haven't heard this band, check em out! Excellent songwriting done in a Bowie-esque way, without actually copying. Proof positive that Canada rocks!

You know, I get their record label's (Six Shooter) newsletter so I always know what this band is up to and where they're touring, but I've actually never heard them. I really should check them out. Especially if they are "Bowie-esque".

Oh my!! This is a problem FA!! However I am happy to know that it's me who will be turning you onto HW. They just pulled through London a few months back and I caught the show. That was my 5th time seeing them and it was great. Fantastic performers.
