To Bastie, thanks man. I've learned alot here, but there are other simple technical issues that I dont understand. I thought I knew alot about audio, but obviously not. This whole 8260 w/bass mgmt is very weird. Also, I thought I posted 800, but now it shows I've only posted 737. Maybe I need to call my doc.....TA HELL NO!!!!

Just got done scrubbing and sucking one of my favorite album. I think this album really made me get into Jazz, especially vinyl. I'll probably get it on SACD if I can find it.

I highly recommend it for anyone who can tolerate experimental Jazz. I think Musicoverall will enjoy this one.
I dont know what it is about Jazz, but I just can't get enough of it. For me, this is the greatest thing to come out of America, except for Mingus. Oh well.

NS: Anne-Sophie Mutter~Beethoven: Spring & Kreutzer Sonatas both refined and restrained in performance, this is a highly detailed performance. Solid classical SACD rec.

You do need to pick up alot of jazz. There are a ton of great jazz and classical realeases that are top-notch and worth the investment. Probably 70% of my posts are SACD. I'll try to be specific about quality product. Have fun with your new toy...

My favorite of his Ambient series, alnog with the one he did in collaboration with Harold Baud. I even have the third speakers set up in the rear like he suggests in the albums liner notes...interesting effect and very nice as long as you are inbetween the speakers...when I wander around the house and get outside the triangle, it can be odd sounding indeed for a lot of music...although for this album, it doesn't matter.
