Last night I revisited one of the best albums of all time in my book, Buddy Miller ~ Universal United House of Prayer.
This morning I had my first listen to Mindy Smith's new album Long Island Shores and it was certainly worth the wait since 2004's One Moment More.

Good to hear from everyone.
I'm enjoying Good Deal by the 3 Sounds.
I'll hate to see my B&W go(2 more days with my babies), but I will be glad to have 97db sensitivity. I hope Tyler Acoustics PD-10 will allow me to get rid of my subwoofer, but I doubt it.
Have a great week to everyone.

It is an overcast morning which can only be truly appreciated with some hot java and the blues...

as you know, in my advents, there also are 12" woofers, and trust me, for most music, you won't need your sub, maybe very soft, and only for the lowest frequencies, but really, for most music, you won't need them, it will be different though, bass will sound so much more powerfull, only i don't like the horn tweeter, but that's a personal choice, happy listening...
btw, where are your b&w's going to??
now going,
dave brubeck - all time greatest hits
Randy newman - lonely at the top.
Greetings, Basite

Dear, Bastie. I shipped those B&W to a happy gentleman in Michigan today. I wish I had one last time to listen to them, but I wanted to pack'em up before something unexpected happened. I see you are spinning Tom Waits' Real Gone again. Great Album. I'll probably spin it later.
Now Spinnin'
Canibus - Rip the Jacker.

NS. Thelonius Monk - The Unique TM.
From gut wrenching hiphop to Jazz. I love how I can transition on to something totally opposite.

There's a killer wind whippin' through the city streets, but all serene at Chez Sticks with a little "City Lights" by Lee Morgan. Very nice.
Cheers

I'll be sure to borrow some good digicam and post some pics. I've finally madeup my mind and went with Triangle Comete ES. Apparetely Comete Anniversary edition was recently reviewed. Probably should've read it first, but they can't really offer what I wanna know. I could've spent $600 more and got the limited edition one. But they use the same drivers so I opted for Cognac finish. More money for music.
Speaking of music, City Lights by Lee Morgan sounds great. I've never heard it unfortunately. That's what's great about digital software. Maybe I'll get a reasonably priced CD/SACD player.
Right now, spinning some Mono '81 reissue in mint condition that was pressed in US just for Japanese Market. Then ended up at a used wax store in Colorado for my Japanese hands. This one isnt going anywhere no mo.

Spinning some great wax tonight.
Art Blakey & TJM - Buhaina's Delight
Herbie Hancock - Maiden Voyage
Oliver Nelson - Berlin Dialogue for Orchestra
George Benson - Other Side of Abbey Road.
I picked these titles out from the library at the University I attend. Unfortunately, half of thei titles are in terrible conditions. But I can tell you all the wax I returned are sparkling clean.
