    Think: Porcupine Tree + Opeth + Anathema + Pink Floyd = . . .

    The answer: RIVERSIDE

    Just got their cd “Out of Myself”, and found it pretty interesting. Sounds, indeed, like a mix of the groups aforementioned.

    The band is from Poland, and this is their debut release.

    More info (and sound sample) at their website, at this link:

    Best prog wishes,
    Demetrio.

    look who the wind blew in

    Welcome back D, nice to see you posting;

    I think the Riverside is easily in the top 3 disc's I picked up last year, here's a review I posted about it a little time back:
    lookee what fell out of the Porcupine Tree

    This disc led me to Anathema's 'a fine day to exit' which is also excellent, reminded me a little of King Black Acid with the distored vocals and guitar.

    Hey, Richmon,

    I didn't realize you had already posted that previous message about the same subject.

    Anathema's Fine Day to Exit is one of my favorites too.

    Kind regards,
    Demetrio.
