The assumption that I am not able to control myself sounded like a very negative stereotype.

No, I have my b!tch up today. I was demeaned at a store by a male who had heard I was gay. He had broken up with his girlfriend and thought maybe I could help him out. After I asked him if he was trippin' I asked why he thought to ask me that question. He said well that is what I hear you people like to do. He thought gays would do anyone and had no self control. I explained that I have been with the same man for 9 years and I am probably the most moral person he will ever meet. I told him that in no way am I attracted to him and could not imagine anyone else ever would be. So yes most days I would not have been bothered by your comments but today of all days you hit a nerve. Will I get over it? Yes. Am I tired of being approached by guys that think I only exist for one purpose? Yes. Will I be able to find my break pedal if that guy walks in front of my car? Probably not. Do I sympathize with women when men say degrading things to them? Yes I do.

    Had a bad day?

So he thought you'd just "top off his tank for him?" So sorry dude. Maybe he really just likes you but didn't know how to say it without being a total jerk.
Anyway, throw on some tunes. Sit back and relax with a good glass of vino. Maybe a litle cheese. Feel any better yet?

Keep in mind I really cleaned up the comments. At least I know where I stand or should I say kneel with him and his opinion of me.

I have the tunes playing and I am drawing a bath. I will have a glass of wine with the rock cornish game hens and corn on the cob tonight.

I am in central Ohio but I only have two hens. Of course by the time you got here the food would be cold and I would just get in another bad mood. You should have called if you were going to be late. I slaved over this hot stove all day and now the food is ruined. I don't know why I bother.

Oh my I think I am way too in touch with my feminine side.

    Stop touching there!

If I was going to be late I would call. But no one invited me yet so how could I be late? Anyway, thanks for caring. I say that because I know that you wouldn't get so upset if you didn't care so much.

If they vote to allow gay marriages let me know. My partner and I can run up to that church. Of course we will both be wearing a tux so you won't have to help with the dress. I would be honored for you to give me the cue to walk up the aisle. Of course I still have to ask GMichael to escort me. LOL

You always have a standing invitation. Any time you are in central Ohio you are welcome to listen to some tunes and drink from the bar. I would even open a good bottle of wine and hide the box o wine. We could meet each other's partners.

Don't hide the box. I'd probably like the cheapest available. I used to love Boonesfarm. Wifey likes sparkling cider. That way she can pretend to be drinking. She's only 100lbs and gets drunk on one sip of wine.

JohnMichael, can I come to the wedding? I love weddings!

Pat.P, I could be wrong, but I don't think that same-sex marriage is legal in the US. They aren't as liberal as us free-thinking Canadians. Tell your church members to vote YES. Marriage should be about love, not about religion or politics.

Of course you are invited. No sadly we do not have many states that have civil unions or marriage. Ohio is fairly conservative so I do not think it will happen here anytime soon. I could be married in another state but it would not be recognized here. Of course divorce is easy. Get your stuff and get out.

The thing is that the last time around 1992 the United Church had to vote for Gay ministers and they lost alot of members. This time for Gay Marriage they had a few panels to discuss the issue of the words of the Bible and Gay .When you have a older congregation and are set on this issue it could go both ways.It takes around 3 young family $$$ to replace a older member by death or by removing is membership from a church.
