Isnt anyone into computers? I need advice on a good antivirus as i just got DSL.

Get a Mac and you practically never even have to worry about it!

Although, I use Norton.

same as jm, defn let me know when the site is up. am an avid amateur photographer (just falling in love with the bronica etrsi) and love looking at other's photographs.

That's a geat 645 camera. I had a GS-1 for a while and loved it. Then a Mamiya RZ67, Hasselblad, and even a Toyo large format. All now gone except for the Toyo. I never use it but I can't bear to seel it. It's so beautiful. Bronica is way way underated and their lenses are stellar. I have gone through so much gear it's depressing. I recently sold off most of my MF gear to make room for a digital system toward the end of the year. That cost is going to hurt. Probably what ever Nikon's flagship is at the time. Although Hasselblad's H1 digital is looking mighty fine but mighty expensive with a back. I am mainly just shooting 35mm right now and having fun. Kindof a back to basics approach. It's been really refreshing.

Strangely enough I consider record collecting as being somewhat seperate from audio, but not entirely.

I ski (not so much anymore), and camp. I do the garage sale thing too. Beer, not fanaticly but often .

Gosh now that I think about it I'm getting boring. Am I getting old, or just jaded?

What's up buddy. I have not conversed with you in a while. Still drinking some fine brewsky I see. Some things never change.

I'm actually off to have cold one, or two or three, right now.

Have you or anyone else here ever heard of a beer brewed in Philly called something like LingYang, or Ying Lang or something like that? A buddy of mine had one in Dallas and said it was the oldest brewed beer here in the States and probably the best beer he has ever had.

I've had DSL for quite some time now and I've been using AVG professional at my office and the free version at home. I used to get viruses, trojans or whatever with Norton, but the AVG is worry free. Try this link:

I play around on guitar and considered it seperate from audio for a long time until I got into recording a little bit. Nothing fancy - just a 4-track cassette recorder and some decent microphones I saved for. But then things started to merge for me when I realized that I've always played guitar through a tube amp. Even though I've tried solid state, I always came back to and preferred my tube amp. Then suddenly it hit me. I needed to change my stereo system from solid state to tube amplification. Anyhow, my next project is finding the easiest way to transfer my tapes to digital.

But my main interest or other hobby is keeping up with what my kids are doing. My son who plays drums is putting together a band and they're practicing tonight so I'm off to check them out. I've promised him I would come up with a PA system for them. The kids get my money, but, hey, it might be fun to have a PA system handy.

When Im alone I have music at 130 DB and more.The bylaws kick in at 45 DB from any sound reproduction system if they could hear from inside their home.So far not one complaint , I help alot of the older people around here.My son normal voice is 85 DB and is screaming at 125 DB ,we are the loud family

My house is on a corner lot, so I only have one neighbor to worry about, and we have at least 20-25 ft of yard between us. I usually turn it down by 11pm. No complaints so far

I have a joint home so after 11 the sub are off and music tone down.They tell us when they are going out so we could crank it.

I've had my fair share of HT in apartments or sharing a wall with the neighbor. Man that sucks for anyone who loves HT and good music. I'm glad those days are over. It's cool that your friends with your neighbors, I'm sure that helps alot.

I did his roof last summer with my nephews and put a fire wall in attic,he cuts the front grass.We wanted to buy both side when we bought here to turn it to a single home,but is father already put a bid on other side.I might ask him one day if he wants to sell.It would give us around 4500 sq feet.There another of my neighbors that we take care ,might sell her house in the next year.The third floor as 10 ft ceiling and all open and she has a 50ft barn in back ,If we buy this one I'll have a great HT room.
