samsung 67" dlp led no longer made?

I am shopping for a tv and have it down between the mits 65 dlp diamond and the sammy 67 led dlp. I am 17 feet from my couch so I need a big screen.

I was told by one salesman that their store no longer carries the sammy led because they will not be manufactured any more and only mits will be making a dlp.

He states the market is moving to all lcd and plasma, with the exception of mits

Is this true and if so what is the time frame?

also any thoughts on the mits vrs sammy

They had a Mitsu 70" on qvc over the weekend(qvc.com)
Dont think it was led but it had a stand included ( a nice one) and was close to 1700 bucks.
Had me salivating for a BIG screen.
Might want to check out their website.

AND I have had both brands (not DLP THO) but prefer the MITS overalll as a brand.
Quality AND picture seemed better.
