Cool dum dum dum DA dum

    Funny how things work out.
When HD was first getting established, a major leader at Fox broadcasting was pretty livid, how dare the govt force this crap on him and his broadcasters! He said that fox would never broadcast
in anything other than 480p as a protest. He also mounted a court challenge against the new format as a stalling tactic.
It slowed the pogress of HD not a whit.
What does this have to do with the price of eggs today? Well, I tuned into the first episode of the new Terminator series on monday
and was nothing short of amazed.
The picture was about the best I have ever seen on broadcast
    TV, of any kind, ever.
    And the sound!
Kinda the way I felt when I cranked my first laserdisc.
And not just a pretty face either, it was quite a way to kick of the season.
There is rarely anything on the tube anymore, network wise, but with this, Chuck, and lost, well, we can hardly complain with these gems on the air.
I can watch Nat Geo and movies while waiting for one to come on.
And whatever happened to this guy? Wish I knew, probably selling burgers somewhere (well, he should be)

    Cool

Most on this forum are "geeks", so a TV series about a member of the "geek squad" should be a natural
