BestBuy has a Dynex 24 inch LCD 1080p for $79. The ad says 15 per store but that's not always the case.

I'd be all over the PS3 and Samsung plasma deals.....and the Lenovo. Those are good quality
    products at great prices.

Do you guys remember the Walmart employee who was trampled to death by black friday shoppers in New York?
That was and is the lowest point in our consumer society. All those people were buying junk that has probably broken by now. They all should have been arrested.

I do wish quality hi-fi products had BF sales.

Man, I avoid these kinds of sales like the plague. We don't have Black Friday here in Canada, but we have Boxing Day. It's essentially the same thing but the day after Christmas. When I was a kid, my Mom would take us downtown to line up at a record store (Sam the Record Man). BarryL and I would have our lists of albums to buy and would walk out loaded down with lots of vinyl. But nowadays, I find it hard to stand in line for deals like that. You wait around for hours to get pushed and shoved out of the way when the doors open, only to find that by the time you get to the item you want it's sold out anyhow. No thanks.

Besides, a lot of the Boxing Day sales are on-line too. Last year we avoided the long Best Buy line-ups and ordered a laptop on-line instead. Same deal, no line-up, but we had to wait three days for delivery. I was okay with that.

People who can't understand that human life is more important than some stupid deal are not human. I think Black Friday is wrong on many levels and often is just a bait and switch mayhem event. I choose often to just wait for a good online deal or some other deal during the season. I'm not getting up at 4:00am to get some ridiculous deal. I need my beauty sleep.
I prefer my sex like my basketball, one on one, and with as little dribbling as possible.

I don't like playing their "Reindeer Games" either but I do plan to go out at 12:00 am to Target for a small chance at the 46" Westinghouse for $298.
This will be my second time going out on BF. The first was a trip to Walmart some years ago were I was not able to find an HDTV BF sale in the electronic section of the store. Most of the HDTV's were spread out on hand trucks pallets in the food aisle. Not that I saw any of them on the pallets, they were gone in less than 3 minutes.
That why I plan on heading for the Women's make-up section once inside Target...

I don't plan to do any midnight shopping as like Robert, I need my beauty sleep. May be drop by Walmart in the afternoon to see if they have any good deals on DVDs.

Outlaw Audio is having an on-line Black Friday sale. Two of the items that caught my eye were:

    Outlaw M8 sub: $175
    Outlaw RR2150 stereo receiver: $599

There's a lot more, and all seem to include free shipping. There's some kind of registration necessary and then they send you a password.

    Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
