Use Extra Audio Output From 5.1 Output

My DVD player has 5.1 audio output (2 for main, 1 for center, 1 for sub, and 2 for rear).
If I want to get an extra audio output (music only), can I get from this 5.1 audio output using
the 2 for main (L & R) - let's say to connect it to 2 RCA input in receiver ?

I'm not sure what you are asking. If you want to run two extra channels off your reciever then yes it is probably possible from your L/R A/B selector.

Oh okay now I get it (kinda) you are using analog interconects from dvd to amp and want to know if you can run a Y cable from the main channels and hook them to the recievers dvd and cd inputs. This should work but why?
