As most people with any business sense knows...restocking fees are there for a reason. This keeps people from sending back stuff for no reason, or becuase they don't know what exactly they want. One cable might not seem like a big deal, but what about some guy who orders 30 monitors and wants to send them back for no reason? Or the guy that wants to return 50 printers for no reason?

That also points out just how asanine it is to expect Tiger to pay for YOUR shipping the item back to them.

Sears is going to start charging a re-stock

I am staying out of the flame war!! I did read in USA today that Sears is implementing
some sort of restock charge. I don't remember if it was specific to electronics or
    appliances or what.

Being in business myself, I understand why companies are starting to do this.
Margins continue to get smaller and expenses continue to get higher. Most
businesses charge enough to survive selling you an item once, but by returning
it, they are really selling it to you twice.

Everyone needs to know the return policies of retailers they are dealing with.
I have a whole cabinet full of speaker wire, cables, interconects ect.. It seems
I'm always looking for something. My advise? $ 35 isn't that much money.
Keep the cable, maybe someday you'll need it.

Does anyone really "care" anymore, consumers be damned attitude from these massive

Another happy internet purchase story! Cheap Cheap Cheap..........sounds as if you got what you bargained for.
