    Digital Input to Componet output?

I have a Harmon Kardon AVR525, with a componet out for moniter. My Tivo has S cable out or regualr RCA or coax. My question is with my sat box hooked into the receiver, with S video, or regular RCA video, am I able to then direct that as a componet signal to my TV through the AVR? I love this receiver, but I am limited as far as ins and outs unless I want to run everything S video.

You should use a video connection that each component has. If all your equipment has component then use component, if all has S-Video then use S-Video. If you mix and match then your still only getting the lowest common denominator. It sounds like all your equipment has S-video so I would connect everything using this type of connection.
