    Mr Peabody - yes it is. Techonology is there, but manufacturing is not. Quality departments are staffed with general labour, trained to perform simple tasks what are there as a (not quite sufficient) support and not to control the production lines. And that is the case for every mass production, everywhere. Lemons after lemons...
    For home wireless, I'm using simple Linksys WRT54G for second year now. Wireless-G is on the market for a long time, they should have taken the bugs out by now, which means less lemons... I am quite happy - slow or fast, as long as it works... and file sharing between all of us (2PCs and 2 laptops) is OK, laser printer is in the grid as well - everything is OK for now. I am just waiting for this router to die, those things are designed not to last. I will try to find the exactly same, but new.
