All I am saying is that when you make a remark like "I thought all your kind looked alike" to an African-American...it could easily be seen as a racist comment. I understand what you were trying to say about the Star Trek characters, but it just didn't come across that way to those that read it without making that connection.

Same would apply if that comment were directed towards Latinos, Asians, etc.

Like I said, Worf will get it. He's secure enough in his Klingon skin to put up with occasional ethnic humor at his expense. But, if one of his more reptilian complexioned comrades from the old country joined this board, the response probably won't be quite as charitable.
