The one scene that I remember getting the most applause in the theater was the appearance of the 3 Klingon ships with their catchy theme music right at the beginning of the ST: The Motion Picture. Long time fans were so happy the show finally got back on screen it coulda made you cry

I didnt get to see The Motion Picture in theaters, but that must have been something to see the fans reacting to the appearance of the ships....sadly, I feel the Motion Picture is the weakest film in the series next to perhaps The Final Frontier...

My favorite part is at the end....when they roll the credits. It means it's finally over.
