VGA cables - Do they carry audio?

I plan to connect my new computer to my HDTV, which has a VGA input. Does VGA carry audio? Or do I need a separate connection for audio?

You will need a 1/8 mini to 2-RCA cable or depending on inputs, a 1/8 to 1/8 stereo cable.

    1/8" Stereo Cable Male to Male - 6 Feet - Newegg.com

    IOGEAR G2LMMRCA006 - Newegg.com

Note: the above links are just samples. You can spend as little or as much as you want for different levels of quality.
