Do your Legacy woofers have available T/S parameters?

Yeah, that's some of them, do you have DC resistance? (sometimes called DCR or Re), Le, and xmax, or p-p excursion would be nice too (usually measured in mm).

I'll see if we can't model you a box to stick'em in....

I haven't found the other measurements on-line yet. But I do have a site at home that let me calculate the others needed when I put these into boxes. I didn't like how they sounded and they haven't been used more than a few hours. Not the fault of the sub drivers though. The piezo tweeters I used are like insect repellant. They made the neighbor's dogs go crazy. Maybe break-in time would help but I bought the Infinity's and never looked back.
It would be nice if I could put the drivers to good use.

Found the page I used. Came up with these numbers. But had to queas at the QTC.

    fs - 33htz
    qms - 2.68
    qes - 0.90
    vas - 2.73
    qts - .674

used .707 in the calculation because I didn't have the correct number.

There's no question you could use these, I'm just can't tell you how good they'll sound. I'd hate to get you to invest your time only to find out these should be left in a trunk.

Wish I knew the excursion, that'd tell me a bit more about the "true" power handling of these things, too. Car audio specs make Sony's HT specs look like KPMG audits. Nature of the biz...doesn't mean they aren't decent woofers though. I bought a few of those $30-$40 Infinity 12" car woofers and stuffed them into small ported boxes for some kids up the street. Added a bit of punch to the small Pioneer/onkyo buyout speakers I made for them. Not ideal, but they sure looked cool and it got my lawn mowed for a few months.
