Oh that's easy, I usually learn "Your Mother Is A Dirtpig" from tha album "Bend Your Big Fat Momma Over". Oh of course, how silly of me! This is from the group "Frank And The Your Mother Fellates Me During My Bowel Movements".
Hey simple question... why would I get annoyed?!?!

I do like to support local shops, but I got a free gift cars for my favorite online reggae shop, with the stipulation I had to make a big purchase. Wholesale rates and a decent sized gift card suckered me in so now I got a fat stack of reggae on the way, including:
Revolutionaries - Satta Dub Strictly Roots: Disco Mix
Revolutionaries - Revival Dub Roots Now: Full Charge
Lone Ranger - On The Other Side Of Dub
Skatalites - Play Ska
Abyssinians - Satta
Tommy McCook - Brass Rockers (With King Tubby And The Aggrovators)
Prince Jammy: Crucial Dub
Jimmy Radway & The Fe Me Time All Stars - Dub I
Joe Gibbs & The Professionals - No Bones For The Dogs: Dubs (2 LP)
King Tubby, Clancy Eccles All Stars - Sound System International Dub
Lee Perry - Blackboard Jungle Dub
Sly & Robbie, Tommy McCook, Etc. - Dial M For Murder: In Dub Style
Keith Hudson - Playing It Cool
Alton & Hortense Ellis
Yeah, I've got some serious listening to do soon.

Wow, what a list. You are really in a reggae rut huh? Don't feel bad I have been in a jazz rut now for over a year now. I am drooling at the thought of all those great sides appearing at my blog. I don't have a huge following, this is because I don't want one, but the people who do come would be bowing at your feet.
Give it some thought Davey, it would also double as good motivation to listen to your stuff. Try to drop just one of those amazing albums per week.

I have a couple new sides, but I'm particularily thrilled about the Thad Jones. If you can believe it, I found this live album sealed for $5 at a local antique market. Opening it was like being privvy to some sort of time capsule...
... firstly, the mail card dropped out. Then I dug inside to find the booklet. Artists House was a flash in the pan as far as labels go, but they left a great legacy. The booklet is awesome. Highlights for me would be a complete list of the recording equipment/configuration used for the session, and a complete (current in 1977) discography for both Lewis and Jones. Being a Thad Jones fan, I was really excited about the disco list as it appears to be the most thorough I have ever seen.
The album has a high quality inner sleeve - paper with a wax interior. Of course the vinyl itself is pressed wonderfully. Really black and dead quiet with that real hifi sound. Such a treat isn't it???

Don't worry, totally planning on going through some of those. Just been busy at work and putting in some extra hours and have had a couple birthdays (mine and others) and a ton of stuff going on keeping me from it. First one I'll probably talk about may be interesting to you... A really good reissue of a roots/dub record made by Jamaicans relocated to the great white north.

Jealous of nobody's records, but here's a new one for me...

To me vinyl sounds better and is more involving than cds, so it is worth having duplicates of your cd collection. Buying music is better than always buying gear. Plus some good music just isn't available on cd.
Keep it up!

Just picked this up as it is one of my all time favorites. Bought "Aqualung" for $29.95 and now it's going for $200. Hopefully I'll get as lucky with this.

I have discovered that a local store that specializes in new and 2nd-hand electronics also has a decent vinyl selection.
