I had Crystal Cable piccolo's here for a very short moment (they will NOT be in the cable thread), but they were pretty bright sounding, so you could look into that.
I know some people that use them with tube Mcintosh amps, and they say it works perfectly with them, so they'll give a pretty neutral sound with your NAD's too...

My cousin is driving his Monitor Audio BR2's with a vintage Technics SA400, the technics is a very warm sounding receiver, and the overall sound is actually pretty good, not overly warm, but not bright neither.
