    Hello to all

I have just taken out of storage, my vintage stereo equipment & fell in love again !

I am using all equipment that I purchased in 1977:
    "Polk 10" Monitors
    "Audio Research SP-5" Pre Amp
"Quad 405" dumping amp 100w RMS

    I just added a:
"Velodyne VRP-1200" 12in Subwoofer to round out the very tight bottom.

I was glad to find this forum but so far have not been able to view much because of some newbie rules?

That's a nice vintage system you've got. The combination of components is interesting:
    • mainstream American speakers
    • high-end American pre-amp
    • audiophile British power amp
What are your source components? Do you have vinyl playback? Presumably you have a new CD player.

I'm not aware that there are any particular restrictions the pertain to newbees, so if you are having a particular problem, let us know and I'm sure someone here can help.
