    Speaker Connection Question

    I have a single run of the Tara Labs RSC Prime 1000 bi-wire speaker cable which I used just a couple years ago in my previous rig. Now that I have the Auditors, which have only one set of binding posts, I've been connecting only only pair of bananas at the speaker end of the cable, the other pair sitting free but stabilized so that the free plugs don't touch.

    Yesterday, I thought to myself that I 'should' be able to connect that free pair by slotting them in the space where bare wire would thread.

    Am I OK to do this or will this cause a short of any sort?

    You will be fine as you connect like colors to the same binding posts.. If you don't, you WILL have a short.
