I heard this speaker at the California Audio show a couple of years ago. It was playing a well recorded jazz piece featuring a Hammond B3 organ, a instrument I am VERY familiar with. It was the most realistic reproduction of that instrument I have ever heard. I thought somebody was in the room live playing it until I saw those speakers.

Wow! Open baffle, compression h/f driver, coaxial mid driver, Behringer DCX2496 -- gotta raise some eyebrows. I'd live to hear it for sure.

IMO, some sort of DSP processing is the future of hi-fi -- whether it's some thing like Audyssey built into your AV receiver, a Lyngdorf, TacT, or DEQX preamp, or in the crossover like the Behringer DCX.

I agree with you. The addition of a Behringer DSP1124P has made a profound difference in the low end of my system.

I have to agree with your last point. I have three speaker system(including the one in my signature) that uses DSP's for servo control on the drivers, controlling the crossovers, and frequency, spatial, and dynamic shaping. It makes for a speaker with a very high clarity factor.

That's a very intriguing product. I have checked it out before and was temped. I still am, but since I listen 98% to computer files, I'm presently using the Electi-Q sofware equalizer from AIXcoustic Creations.
