    Repair or Replace Sub

I have an NHT SubOne that I purchased in 1999. I tripped the protector fuse in the sub. I would have thought this would be an easy repair (just replace the fuse) but last time it happened (under warranty) the authorized repair center had to send it to another center for repair. I figure the repair costs this time would run at least $100-150 maybe more depending upon the difficulties of the repair.

I would appreciate advise on whether to try to get the sub repaired or buy a new one in the $600 range. The SubOne otherwise seems to be in decent shape.

Me? i would swap the fuse first. If it blows again - we will troubleshoot from there. If it is the driver - use parts express and swap it out. If it is the amp - replace the amp.
    Really. It is that simple.
