    Question about surround speakers

I am going with a 7.1 System due to wiring issues i have to go with my ADP 470 in back instead of the sides. So those are my Surround Back Speakers right, But i was watching Phantom Menace and it seemed more sound was coming out of my Surrounds that were on the L and R on each side and if made me think the 470' s were not being used very much which is crazy since they are way more expensive than my side speakers. Just seems like a waste to me i guess. Is this normal or is my setup messed up.

Yeah, what your hearing is right. Very few movies are recorded in true 6.1. Any 6.1 or 7.1 receiver is matrixing the side surround channels and feeding it to the rear surrounds.

I don't understand what wiring problem would cause you to not be able to place the back surrounds where your sides are. Mounting problem maybe, but wiring?
