The cloths that I use to clean all of my gear is a non-abrasive cloth that is used primarily for screens, like LCD's. I think Monster makes a cleaning kit that comes with a solution for cleaning monitors with a cloth inside that is similar as well. I wipe down my gear and then use a compressed air can to extinguish the dirt on the cloth, I do NOT put it into the washer or dryer where it can pick up small grains. I have had huge success using this method since my TV and audio stand have a high black gloss finish, glass, and then my usual gear and their shiny parts.
